Agreed. Though, I do like Barkov. Rumors have Yzerman wanting to get rid of Lecavalier's contract. Leads me to believe that Barkov may be on the radar more than people think.

no hes a beauty of a player, its just that he is very injury prone and is takig up 4.5 mil per year....way too much for him

if you can sign ryan malone at 1.5-2 mil per year thats a low risk high high reward deal

No, it's not that. It's just that the Lightning don't have cap space for him, and they've got a bunch of prospects ready to take his spot. He's a heck of a player (when healthy) and he's universally loved by fans. He's a great character guy.
